THE FIRE “SUPERNOVA” (Valery Records – Ammonia Records)
Un tempo nel mondo della musica si diceva che il terzo disco è quello della conferma, la realtà dei giorni nostri dice che raramente le band arrivano a fare tre dischi, quindi forse sarebbe più giusto definire il terzo disco quello del miracolo…
Il miracolo di trovare ancora etichette discografiche disposte ad investire su un progetto, e il miracolo di riuscire ancora ad andare a suonare nei club
e portare gente. Questo miracolo è quello dei The Fire, il gruppo capitanato da Olly Riva, già leader degli Shandon, e produttore tra i tanti anche della all star band Rezophonic.

Dal 2005 i THE FIRE hanno portato la loro musica in giro per l’Europa, dividendo il palco con Deep Purple, Iggy Pop, Alice Cooper, The Damned, Fall Out Boy, Kaiser Chiefs, Gotthard, Satanic Surfers, Nashville Pussy e molti altri. Sono passati 7 anni, due dischi e due EP, e i THE FIRE sono ancora qui a presentare il nuovo album dal titolo “SUPERNOVA”, contenente 10 tracce di rock melodico. Forse è veramente il disco della maturità, mai come in questo caso infatti i The Fire hanno messo a fuoco il loro progetto riuscendo ad amalgamare il rock più crudo e diretto (Mr Pain, Dynamite, Follow Me… quest’ultima con Alteria come special guest) alla vena melodica che Olly riesce sempre a portare ad altissimi livelli (Claustrophobia, See you next time e la ballad Paralyzed).
Nella versione italiana sono presenti anche due bonus tracks, “Business Trash” con Pino Scotto e “Tu sei solo mia” l’adattamento in Italiano di Out of here che Olly ha scritto per la moglie, la bellissima pin-up Francesca Du Demon…
L’uscita dell’album è fissata per il 26 Novembre , l’album verrà pubblicato dalla Valery Records (già label di “Abracadabra”) in collaborazione con la storica Ammonia Records (label fondata nel 2000 proprio da Olly in collaborazione con il suo manager Kappa)

Biography
In the music world they used to say that the third album for a band is the big one. Nowadays though only few bands survive until their third album, so it would be more correct to consider it the album of the miracle…. The miracle of still finding record labels that want to invest on a new project, the miracle of playing in sold out clubs…
This miracle comes from The Fire, the band that is leaded by Olly Riva (singer of Shandon as well and producer of bands such as Rezophonic).
Since 2005 The Fire bring their music all over Europe, sharing the stage with bands such as Deep Purple, Iggy Pop, Alice Cooper, The Damned, Fall Out Boy, Kaiser Chiefs, Gotthard, Satanic Surfers, Nashville Pussy and many more.
7 years have passed, two albums and two EPs and The Fire are still here to present their new album, “Supernova”, 10 tracks of melodic rock. A great and strong mix of the hardest rock (Mr Pain, Dynamite, Follow Me… with Alteria as special guest) and the high class melody that Olly can always bring to the top level (Claustrophobia, See you next time and ballad Paralyzed).
The release of the album is planned on Nov. 26th, with Valery Records (label of the album “Abracadarbra”) and Ammonia Records (the label founded by Olly and his manager Kappa).
